An Olentangy Local School District employee arrested last spring for multiple felony and misdemeanor charges has been fired.

Kim A. Avesian, a 43-year-old Powell resident, pleaded guilty to a felony theft charge in Delaware County Common Pleas Court in December and is currently serving a 90-day prison sentence. Avesian admitted to stealing several hundred thousand dollars from the books of Powell-based business Komaza, LLC, which dissolved in 2008. She was ordered by the court to pay the business owner $500,000 in restitution for her actions.... Cont'd
