Inge Householder, 43 of Delaware, gave up her battle against cancer to join her Heavenly Father on Sunday (Feb. 28, 2010).

She was born on March 9, 1966 in Mannheim, Germany, where she was active in the Red Cross and enjoyed ballroom dancing. It was in Germany where she caught the eye of a distinguished U.S. Army man and her husband of 24 years, Tommy L. Householder. She worked 17 years for the Sears Embossing Center which later became CitiCards. While in Florida, she worked as an intake clerk for Charlotte County Sheriffs Office. Her life was centered around her Lord and Savior, shown in her many years of attendance to the Grace Brethren Church. She was also actively involved with “Kids ’N’ Kamp” and “A Kid Again” organizations. As the rock of the family, she was smart, funny, and possessed an amazing personality. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother Inge, and she will be remembered for her beautiful smile and words of wisdom.

Those left to treasure her memory include her husband, Tom; children, Stephanie, Jennifer, Sandy and Steven; new grandson, Ethan; father and step-mother, Dieter and Hiedi Labitzke of North Port, Fla.; mother and step-father, Gerlinde and Max Pongratz; three brothers, Peter and Rene’ Labitzke, and Alex Pongratz of Germany.

Friends may come to calling hours from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 5, at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 637 Ohio 61, Sunbury. An additional calling hour will be from noon to 1 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at the Grace Brethren Church, 8225 Worthington-Galena Road, Westerville, with the Rev. Tim Waggoner officiating. Interment will follow in Green Mound Cemetery, Kilbourne.
